Founded in 2011 with a single vision – to create an environmentally responsible disposable nappy.
Ecoriginals is proudly the world’s first plastic neutral disposable nappy, created from plant based layers including FSC certified wood pulp and a 100% cotton back sheet. Our nappies are free from harmful chemicals with only 100% plant based layers against your babies skin.
Following our passion to take our industry changing nappies to the world, in 2020 we proudly partnered with the Think Better Group, who shares our vision for a more sustainable future. This union has enabled Ecoriginals to become the leading plant based disposable nappy globally with our nappies now shipping to over 100 countries. But this is all just the beginning.
SAFETY & TESTING
Our nappies and wipes are routinely independently tested to ensure they are free from all harmful chemicals and compounds, including PFAS, chlorine, fragrances, alcohol, parabens, phenols, pesticides, formaldehyde, carcinogenic and allergenic dyes and pthalates - protecting your mini from rashes, irritation, and discomfort.
SUPPLY CHAIN TRANSPARENCY
Our nappies include FSC Certified Wood Pulp, Compostable non-GMO Corn Starch, Tissue Paper and Certified Organic Cotton sourced from the United States, China and Japan. These raw materials are then consolidated and shipped to our New Zealand partner factory in China where our nappies are assembled and packaged into 100% Compostable Rice Paper packaging.
At this time, China is the only country that has the technology and capabilities to produce our premium eco nappies to the standards we require. Our partner factory are BRC Certified ensuring that our ethical production of goods and compliance standards are met.
Our wipes are manufactured in New Zealand in a facility that operates from 100% renewable energy.
